I also welcome Peter Capaldi as the new doctor officially (I did not cry but there were emotions). When I first found out about the 12th doctor I was in bed looking at facebook on my phone. I saw the info and picture and I said "Pilfrey?!" then promptly died of embarrassment when I was alone in the room...(fortysomething...look it up, it is funny and has Benedict Cumberbatch and Hugh Laurie). I will miss Matt like I do the others.

Even though the Doctor dates from my childhood I neve4r watched it then: no-one watched the ABC, and reception was poor, and the Doctor seemed like an old man. Not like that man of action Captain Kirk. But I have nejoyed that last three (four - War) Doctors.
I look forward to seeing you post some selfies in the Dr Who t-shirts, and with a suitable skirt the corpse bride tights.
